Frank Miller Wall, Sr. “Pa”

Frank Miller Wall, Sr. “Pa”, age 90, passed away on October 9, 2014 at his home in Boiling Springs, NC.

Frank was born in on November 18, 1924.  Frank graduated from Shelby High School and served time in the US Army, serving our country in World War II.  Following completion of his undergraduate degree at Gardner Webb University, frank completed a Master’s degree at Western Carolina University, and served multiple years in teaching, administrative, and Guidance Counselor roles in Cleveland County.

Frank is survived by two sons, Frank Wall Jr. and John Wall, his daughters in law Debbie Wall and Becky Wall, his grandchildren Gabe Wall, Kellie Wall Lanier, Holly Wall Poynter, Sally Wall Poynter, Casey Wall Southlnads, and Mary Wall Crotts, eight great grandchildren, and multiple nieces, nephews and extended family.

Frank is preceded in death by two loving wives, Jessie Wall (mother of Frank and John Wall), and Martha Lewis Wall (mother of the late Steve Lewis and Kenneth Lewis); also 3 siblings (Muriel Cooper, Hack Wall and Mal Wall).

The funeral service will be held at The Reverend Keith Dixon, alongside Frank’s long term friend and Army mate, Don McSwain will be officiating.  Visitation will be held at  Boiling springs Baptist Church.  Burial qill follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cleveland Funeral Services.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Pa’s caregivers Nikki, Virginia and Nettie Wray.  The dedication and loving commitment of three very special caregivers allowed Pa to remain at home surrounded by the life and memories that he so loved.  We are forever grateful for your many blessings.
