You’ll often see David Rhodes, known as “The Radio Man”, dancing his way up and down East Grover Street in Shelby. He jukes in the vicinity of  Alston Bridges Barbecue and advertises for them by wearing one their t-shirts. David will be quick to tell you: “I’m 57 years old and move like a 20 year old.” He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved here to be with his mother. With his small boom box in hand, he turns up the music and starts his moves. David began this about a year ago and does it most every day. He loves entertaining and will gladly accept a tip of a dollar of two if you feel inclined.
