As a kick off at Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday July 28th, games, fun, and food welcomed Vacation Bible School. Perhaps the most popular attraction was the "pie in the face!" Church member Rodney Conley held  the target and let all comers put a pie in his face! The kids loved it and Rodney has now developed a strong taste for "Cool Whip!"

The Kosa retirees fished Lake Wylie last week with John Black and Roger McNeely getting the win. The pair had 11.11, total and anchored that with a 6.0 largemouth, which took big fish for the day. Ronnie Humphries was second with 5.13 and in a close third with 5.12 was Ned Blanton and Tony Black. This week it will be back to Lake Norman.
