Ada Chapman, 71, of 211 Ridgewood Street, Shelby, passed away Saturday,
October 4, 2014 at home.
Born January 6, 1943 in Cleveland County, she is the daughter of the late
Roy Lee Hudson and Lottie Belle Chapman. She is retired from Broyhill as a
machine room worker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers; Larry
Hudson, and James Chapman.
Survivors include sons; James Tessiner and wife Nancie of Casar, and Gene
Tessiner of the home, daughters; Teresa Borders and husband Kenneth of
Shelby, Carolyn Ellwood and husband Curtis of Hickory, and Dessie Cox and
husband Tracy of Lawndale, sisters; Neva Pruett of Casar, and Janice
Richards of Forest City, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren;
former spouse and father of her children, James Tessiner, and faithful
companion, Precious.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center.
The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
& Cremation Center, Chapel
Burial will be private.
