Agnes Wellmon Jones, 75, of 309 Old Mill Road, Shelby, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Born October 23, 1942 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Everette (Chick) Wellmon and Luna Champion Wellmon. She was retired from Cleveland Mills and was a member of Double Shoals Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jackie L. Jones; son, Dennis Jones and wife, Denise of Polkville; daughter, Lori Nolan and husband, Cliff of Shelby; four grandchildren, Heather, Josh, Taylor and Jessica and five great-grandchildren, Levi, Connor, Ethan, Lexi and Kylie.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Brian Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in Double Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
