Amy Smith Norris


Amy Smith Norris, 44, of Grover, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  She was the daughter of the late Harve and Mildred Hamrick Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her grandparents.  Amy served as secretary of Cleveland County CBA A.B.A.T.E.  She was also a participant for Susan G. Komen for the cure.  Amy was a loving wife, loving mother of four children and five grandchildren. 

Amy is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Johnny Norris, Jr; son, David Christopher Graham of Shelby; daughters, Nikki Smith of Grover, Stephanie Drum and husband David of Mt. Holly and Amanda Johnson and husband Stephen of Mt. Holly; sister, Penny Powell of Clarksville, TN; brother Harve Smith of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Ayden Smith, Elijah Graham, Khloe Johnson, Zoey Johnson, and William Drake Drum.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Landmark Baptist Church.  Pastor Howard Stroup of Wings of Eagles Bikers Ministry and Chaplain Kelly Dodson of Cleveland County CBA will be officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9:00am – 11:00am prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park escorted by the CBA.  At others times the family will be at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wings of Eagles Bikers Ministry, 216 West Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28150.
