Amy Sue Helms Amy Sue Helms, age 41, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems Kings Mountain. She was born December 12, 1976 in Gaston County to Douglas Dermont and Patsy Mae Stewart Helms. She graduated from Fallston Christian School and was a chiropractic technician. Amy loved and cherished her family, especially her daughter. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Monica Faith Moss; and siblings, Andrea Cohen of Charlotte, Angela Rossman of Crouse and Brian 'Dion' Bence of Bessemer City; and friend, David Mark Moss. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner and Phil King officiating. Burial will be private.
