Ann McCraw, age 92, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Forest City. She was born March 4, 1925 in Gaffney, SC the daughter of the late Fred Lewis and Vilous Hensley Wolff. She was a homemaker and active member of Zoar Baptist, Elizabeth Baptist, Florence Baptist, and most recently Trinity Baptist Church. Ann shared her creativity with others by working in retail at several local fabric stores. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Jack McCraw; a brother Jimmy Wolff, and a sister, Charlotte Lark.
Ann is survived by her three daughters; Patricia Holland and husband Ronnie of Forest City, Martha McCraw of Mooresboro, and Brenda Jones and husband Rev. Jeff Jones of Lilburn, GA; two brothers, Max and Tommy Wolff of Gaffney, SC, four grandchildren; Tony Holland, Andy Holland, Christopher Jones and Hensley York; four great-grandchildren Jacob Holland, Taylor Holland, William Holland, and Hadley Holland.
Funeral service will be held 4 pm Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jeff Jones and Rev. Mike Frazier officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 pm until 4 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
