National Farm-City Week is November 16th-22nd
You are cordially invited to attend the annual Farm-City Week Breakfast, set for Tuesday, November 20th beginning at 7:30 am. It will be held in the Cleveland County Cooperative Extension auditorium in the County Office Building, located at 130 S. Post Road in Shelby.

Many families begin their holiday season by attending the annual Singing Christmas Tree, which will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Nov. 23-25 at Double Springs Baptist Church.
The 2012 Annual Uptown Shelby Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, Dec 16th at 3:00pm. Anyone wishing to
participate in this year's parade must submit an application to Uptown Shelby Association by Dec 3rd.

The staff at Hospice Cleveland County recently joined with the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) to help collect items for their annual “Support the Troops” project. Boxes were placed throughout the Administration Building the entire month of October with a Wish List of items attached from SECU.
The City of Kings Mountain hosted their annual Veteran’s Day Observance on Monday, November 12.
A Veterans Day Observance was held on Sunday, November 11, on the court square Uptown Shelby. Local citizens in the U.S. Armed Forces were recognized and honored. Wreath laying, prayers, and remembrances were offered. Pictured is the Bethel Baptist Youth Choir singing the National Anthem.
