Corinth Baptist Church Benefit Fundraiser, Casar
Corinth Baptist Church 324 Corinth Church Road, Casar, NC, will hold a Benefit Fundraiser Saturday, May 27, 2017, 4:00pm until, for Randy, Sherry, and Stephen Downs of Casar, NC. Randy had a kidney removed due to cancer in May of 2017. He has been diagnosed with cancer again and had surgery on Friday, May 5. He will possible need chemo and/or radiation this time. Friends, family, and Corinth Baptist Church will sponsor a pinto bean supper in order to raise funds to assist his family in paying the mounting medical bills. Cost: $10, adult; $5, age 5-12; free, under 5. Carry outs available. Menu: Pinto beans, cornbread/rolls, slaw/onions, macaroni and cheese, livermush/sausage, pickles/chow-chow, desserts, drinks/tea/milk.
