Lowesville Gospel Concerts

Ambassador Baptist College Presentation
The public is cordially invited to kick off the Christmas season with Ambassador Baptist College's annual presentation of Handel's Messiah. On Friday, December 1, and Saturday, December 2, 2017, the college chorale will be singing excerpts from Handel's Messiah, as well as additional Christmas selections. The doors will open each night at 6:15pm and the concert will start at 7:00pm. Both concerts will be held in the R.A. Torrey Auditorium and are free of charge. Selections include "Surely He Hath Borne Our Sorrows," "For Unto Us a Child is Born," and the world-famous Hallelujah Chorus. Please plan to come early since seating is limited. A nursery for young children will be provided. At the conclusion of the concert, a love offering will be received for the student scholarship fund. Ambassador Baptist College is a private, four-year college dedicated to training young people for the ministry. Community Service: The Earl Christmas Parade will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, Hwy 198, Earl, NC, Sunday, December 3, 2017, beginning at 3:00pm, followed by Soup/Sandwich Supper at 4:30pm.The theme for the Parade is "A Children's Home Christmas". Everyone that participates and attends the Parade/Community Service is ask to bring needed items for The Children's Homes in Cleveland County. There will be a truck in the parade to collect items along the Parade Route and at the entrance of New Hope Baptist Church before the Community Service.
