FOREST CITY - Arlene O'Brien Coberg, 73, of Crystal Lane, Forest City, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at SECU Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Queens, New York, she was born on December 06, 1941, a daughter of the late Edward O'Brien and Marie Ciccicola O'Brien. She was a retired CNA and was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She loved to do crafts, paint and draw.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marion Ciaglia and brother, Jerry Ciccicola. She is survived by her husband, Charles Coberg; her sons, Gary Coberg, Charles Coberg, Jr., Michael Coberg, Thomas Coberg and Joseph Coberg, all of New York; her daughters, Patricia Mejia of New York and Susan LaGala of North Carolina; 15 grandchidren; 9 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Tanners Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wes Craven officiating. Visitation will be held after the service.
