B.H. Sain, Jr., 87, of 1074 Hwy. 18 N, Lawndale, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Brian Center in Lincolnton.
Born April 6, 1926 in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Ben H. Sain and Mary Etta Willis Sain. He was retired from Century Furniture as a supervisor and was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church. Mr. Sain served in the US Army during W.W.II.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Morrison Sain; four brothers, B.E. Sain, Connie Sain, Leon Sain and Grady Sain and a sister, Florence Sain Dale.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Sain and wife, Hazel of Vale and Tony Sain and wife, Nola of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Tonya Maranto of Forest Hill, Maryland and Rodney Sain and wife, Toni of Lawndale; five great grandchildren, Caroline Harris, Erin Harris, Dominic Maranto, Samantha Sain and Benjamin Sain; and a special friend, Lorene Richards of Belwood.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Monday, at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, Vale. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service.
Officiating: Rev. Kathy Turman
Burial: Will follow in the church cemetery
