Barbara Ann Murray Skipper, age 71, of Forest City, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at Fair Haven.
Born June 5, 1945 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Hollis Fowler and Lora Blackwell Randolph. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Murray Nolen; son, Wayne "Ronnie" Murray Jr., three brothers, Charles "Booster" Fowler, Larry Richard Fowler, and James Lester Fowler.
Those left to cherish his memory include her son-in-law, Arnold Nolen; stepmother of her children, Gaynelle Murray; granddaughter, Allison Gibert and husband Chris; and grandson, Matthew Murray. She is also survived by four sisters, Betty Louise Graham, Margie Ruff, Mary "Pug" Greene and husband Prestor. Linda Anders and husband Clayton; and one brother, Danny Robert Fowler.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Billy Poe Jones officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
