Barbara Kay Poston Grayson, 79 of Shelby passed away, Sunday, June 24, 2018
at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland.

Born May 14, 1939 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde
Graham Poston, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Leonard Poston. She was retired from
Grayson Meat Processing and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,
Benjamin "Ben" Thomas Grayson; six brothers, Jerry S. Poston, D.J. Poston,
Glenn A. Poston, Donald Lee Poston, Clyde Poston, Jr. and Claude Arey Poston
and two sisters, Edna P. Glover and Annie Wiley.

Survivors include two daughters, Amy Parker and husband, Ron of Belwood and
Angie Wood (Tony Parker) of Vale; two brothers, Dan Poston (Norma) and
Ronald Douglas Poston all of Shelby; five grandchildren, Madison Wood, Amber
Parker, Dakota Parker, Seth Parker and Grayson Parker and two
sisters-in-law, Cathy M. Poston of Shelby and Barbara W. Poston of Miami,
Florida.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of a daughter
Amy Parker, 226 Rockdale Road, Lawndale.

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home Chapel with Mrs. Norma Poston and Mr. Jake Lail officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
