SHELBY- Barbara Moore Cash, 76, died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late E.D. and Rosella Fowler Moore. She was a member of Shelby Freewill Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Henderson; two brothers, James Moore and Furman Moore.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Sherman Cash, Jr.; one son, Buster Gene Cash; one daughter, JoAnn Lawson and husband Rusty all of Shelby; five sisters, Florence Humphries of Shelby, Brenda Jones and husband Ray of Shelby, Helen Strange and husband Billy of Mooresboro, Judy Emory and husband Ronnie of Shelby, Kathy Pruitt and Grady Whitner of Shelby; two brothers, Tommy Moore, Mickey Moore and wife Charlene all of Mooresboro; four grandchildren, Travis Lawson and wife LeeAnn, Kyle Cash and Haley Blanton, Brandon Hoffman, Tyler Hoffman; six great grandchildren.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Shelby Freewill Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.

INTERMENT: Cleveland Memorial Park
