Pacolet Mills -- Becky Jean Oxford Hurt, 57, of 390 Stone Street, passed away Monday, June 18th, 2018, at her home.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the wife of Robert Jerry Hurt and the daughter of the late William Oxford and Barbara Jean Coleman Oxford. Mrs. Hurt was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hurt is survived by two daughters, Michelle Sprouse and husband, Jonathan, and Barbie Bright and husband, Steven, both of Pacolet Mills; one brother, Mike Oxford and finance, Tammie, of Gaffney; two sisters, Lynn Suttles of Clifton and Beni Bost of Sjpartanburg; and three grandchildren, Kaidyance Sprouse, Willow Bright, and River Bright.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dean, Doobie, and Timmy Oxford, and her sister, Libby Oxford.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 21, 2018 , from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 635 Mt. Pleasant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. Fred Quidley officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Chad Oxford, Josh Oxford, Will Upchurch, Steven Oxford, William Oxford, and Travis Oxford will serve as pallbearers.
