Bertha Adair Dudeck, 94, a resident of Peachtree Centre, Gaffney, died on Friday, June 27, 2014. A native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, she was born on January 27, 1920, a daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Durham Adair.
She is survived by her sons, James Godfrey and wife Betty of Forest City, Bobby Everette Godfrey and wife Florence of Connelly Springs, and Roy Lee Godfrey and wife Joyce of Chesnee; one brother; three sisters, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Gardens of Gaffney. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
