Betty Earley Doggett, age 85, of Forest City, NC, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born March 4, 1931 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Everett Earley and Eva Vassey Earley. She was a graduate of Tri-High School and a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Forest City. Betty worked as an independent insurance agent and administrative assistant for several years. She volunteered for various community service projects while investing her life in helping others. Betty was a blessing to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Wall.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Pamela Doggett Mullis of Myrtle Beach, SC and nephew, Craig Wall of Cary, NC. She is also survived by her two companion cats, CeCe and Ali.
The memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the First Wesleyan Church with Reverend Eric Yelton officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
