Betty Faye Moore, age 67, of Casar, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her daughter's home.
Born August 11, 1950 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Landrum L. Bumgardner and Louise "Easter" Beheler Bumgardner. She worked in textiles most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. Betty enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Crowe.
Those left to cherish her memory in include her life-companion of thirty-three years, Bobby L. Asherbraner; two daughters, Linda Ann Greene (Bryan Rogers) of Henrietta and Lisa Sue Howard (Chris) of Mooresboro; one brother, Roy Bumgardner of Casar and a sister, Carolyn Hunt (Lonnie) of Bostic. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brittany Brooks, Robert Greene (Hannah), Michelle Howard, Michael Howard and four great-grandchildren, Cameron Brooks, Emma Brooks, Colton Greene and Aubrey Bradley.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Ruppe officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Harrelson Funeral Home.
