Mrs. Bettye Akin Moore, age 94, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-Cleveland. Born in Hampshire, TN on February 12, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Herman E. and Nettie Stella Jaggers Akin. She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and the Board of Trustees at Gardner-Webb University, and was a retired teacher for the Cleveland County Schools. In addition to her parents, Bettye is preceded in death by her husband, Dan W. Moore and a brother, Robert Akin and a number of cousins.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00AM at Cleveland Memorial Park with Dr. Tracy Jessup officiating.
