Billy Albert Justice

Billy Albert Justice, 84, of Canton formerly of Shelby passed away Thursday,
January 21, 2016 at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.

Born July 13, 1931 in Haywood County, he was a son of the late William
Thomas Justice and Mary Cook Foster. Mr. Justice retired as a bounty hunter
with the NC Department of Corrections and was a member of Longs Methodist
Church in Canton. He served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife,
Elinor Dillon Justice and a daughter, Mary Truhlar.

Survivors include his wife, Romaine Rogers Justice; a son, Eddie Justice and
special friend, Nancy Beasley of Canton; three daughters, Kay Cooke and
husband, Brian of Lawndale; Billie Jean Justice and special friend, Rusty
Rogers of Shelby and Debbie Norman and husband, Tim of Mooresboro; seven
grandchildren, Jimmy Justice, Steven Justice, Timothy Justice, Rachel Mills,
Christopher Crowe, Taylor Crowe and Tanner Norman; two step grandchildren,
Brian Cooke, II, Andrew Cooke, fifteen great-grandchildren and a step
daughter, Sherry Barton and husband, Alan and their children, Misty
Gilliland, Josh Barton and Adam Conner.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center. At other times the family will be at the home of
Debbie Norman, 642 Sandy Run Church Road, Mooresboro.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Dr. Roy Kilby, Rev. Ray Sharpe, and Rev. Aryn Ruebel
officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
