Billy David Ingram, 81, of Warlick Road, Lawndale, passed away peacefully
Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in
Huntersville.

He was born in Rutherford County on May 2, 1933, to the late W T Ingram and
Jewell Davis Ingram. He retired from the US Navy after serving his country
for twenty years. After retiring, he began a career in law enforcement,
serving as Chief of Police in BoilingSprings, Lake Lure and Glenrock,
Wyoming. He was a member of New Beginnings Church and W. R. Gary Post of
the American Legion in Fallston.

In addition to parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Winifred
Ingram and his son, Rick Ingram.

He is survived by his wife Jo; daughters, Cathy Whitesides and husband Pete
of Mt. Holly and Dixie Bullock and husband Jimmy of Gulfport, MS; brother,
Gene Ingram and wife Elaine of Iowa; sister, Rose Patsy Dothard of Alabama;
nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
