Billy Queen Jones, 82, of Forest City, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Jones and Myrtle Queen Brown. Bill was a retired crane operator for Duke Power.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Anna Sue Powell Jones of the home; son Bobby Jones of Gaffney, SC; daughter, Teresa Bird of Ellenboro; stepson Wayne Lewis and wife Karen of Forest City; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sister, Jean Smith and husband Clyde of Forest City. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by three sisters, Mabel Mayn, Louise Walker and Joyce Norville.

Funeral services will be held 12PM Friday, March 10, 2017 at Crowe's Mortuary with Sandra Norris officiating. Interment will be in Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
