Blanche Virginia Sane Ruff age 92, of Forest City, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 21^st 2018 at Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home. Blanche was born on August 3^rd 1925 in Rutherford County, NC to the parents of Fonzy B. Sane, and Minnie Smith Sane. Blanche was the wife to the late Jay Ruff. Left to cherish her memory are her children Rita Ruff, Bruce Ruff, Barbara Lail (Bruce), and Donald Ruff; grandchildren Derrick (Julie), Eric (Brittany); great grandchildren Aspen Lail, and Grant Lail; sisters Jack Davis of Lexington, NC and Jo Padgett of Fletcher, NC; in addition to her parents and husband, Blanche was preceded in death by her siblings John Sane, Luke Sane, Mac Sane, Bill Sane, Beth Henson, Pearl Wall and Margaret Hollifield. Memorials may be made to Forest Lake Baptist Church 292 Forest Lake Rd Forest City NC 28043; or to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills PO Box 336 Forest City NC 28043. Services will be held at 3:00PM on June 24^th 2018 at Forest Lake Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Toney officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM at the church.
