Cherryville - Mr. Bobby Joe Woodruff, 78, of Fairways Drive, passed away,
Friday, July 6, 2018 at his residence.

Bob was born April 22, 1940 in Caldwell County, he was a son of the late
Herbert William Woodruff and Dare Townsend Woodruff. He was retired from
Carolina Freight Carriers and also worked as a self-employed painter. Bob
was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy
Woodruff.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, LeNita Beam Woodruff; daughter, Kim
Dixon and husband, Sean of Gastonia; two grandchildren, Amanda and Jennifer
Dixon both of Gastonia; three brothers, David Woodruff of Maiden, Johnny
Woodruff of Lincolnton and Cecil Woodruff of Florida and a sister, Virginia
McCaslin of Lincolnton.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:15 PM in the Vida
Dellinger Parlor at St. John's Lutheran Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:30 PM on Monday, July 9, 2018 at
St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Ben Kifer officiating.

Burial will be private.
