Boiling Springs plans Crossroads Festival May 21, 2016

Boiling Springs will host its fourth annual Crossroads Festival on Saturday, May 21, 2016, on South Main Street from 12 p.m to 6 p.m. The Crossroads Festival has grown in attendance every year and features vendors and exhibitors from all over the region. A wide variety of foods from classic fried fare to trendy cuisine will be available. Crafts, clothing, beauty supplies and other similar items will also be available.
Activities scheduled for the day include: free inflatables and rides on the event lawn from 12 - 6 p.m.; performances by the Vicki Arrowood School of Dance students at the Main Stage at noon; Balloons by Becki at the town museum from 4 - 6 p.m.; and the Gravity Check Juggling Show at the main stage at 4 p.m.
The festival was first held in 2011 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the town of Boiling Springs. The celebration was so well received by the community that the town decided to make it an annual event.
Town officials say that the festival is a great way to attract visitors but that it is especially designed to give local residents a chance to come and celebrate their community.
"We are very excited about this year's festival," says Town Manager Tom Hart. "We strive to be a top tier community where people want to live, work and play. Events like the Crossroads Festival are integral to that goal."
