Boyce Wayne Patterson, 64, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 17, 2018 at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Henry Boyce Patterson and was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Ray Patterson. Wayne was a dedicated member of Westover Baptist Church and loved his church family dearly, especially Pastor Kevin Whittington. He was a hard working and committed employee of Wix for 35 years. Wayne loved music and was a master guitar player, and enjoyed playing at many venues in the area. He enjoyed watching football and loved the mountains. Wayne was a devoted and disciplined family man who loved his mother with all his soul. He was a loving son, wonderful brother and uncle and he will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
