Current members of the Boys & Girls Club lead the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland County 50th Anniversary Gala brought alumni home to be part of the celebration held at the LeGrand Center on Friday, July, 22, 2016. Those present included: Alvin Gentry, head coach of the New Orleans NBA Pelicans, and Charlotte Smith, All-American and head coach for women's basketball at Elon University. Gentry was keynote speaker for the event and shared how he learned how to play basketball at the Club. He also pointed out he learned how to be polite and follow instructions.

Over the past fifty years, thousands of children have attended the Club and have learned to be responsible, caring citizens of the community. Entertaining the crowd was Elvis impersonator, Travis Powell.
