GROVER-Brack Junior Kennington, 83, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at his home. A native of Lancaster Co., SC, he was the son of the late Brack Kennington and Bernice Hunter Knight. He retired from Fiber Industries and also painted.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Reynold Kennington and James Kennington; and sister, Sue Funderburk.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his daughters, Linda Kennington Wyatt and husband Frank Wyatt Jr. of Eden, Teresa Gay Bergin and Jon of Kansas City, KS, and Robin Kennington Overstreet and husband Tim of Concord; sister, Linda Cardwell of Austin, TX; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jen Kennington of Lancaster, SC; brother-in-law, Charlie Funderburk of Ridgeway, VA; and many nieces and nephews; and special longtime friend, Carol McNeally, of Grover.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 1pm, Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Scott Hardin will officiate

BURIAL: A private family burial will be held in Dan View Cemetery in Eden
