The Cleveland County Bass Club fished their first event of the new year on Lake Norman, Saturday. Roger Beaver picked up the win with 10.44. Jeremy Bouldin was a close second with 10.42, as he also had big bass of the day with a 2.72 largemouth. Third place with 7.02 was Jimmy Melton with Tom Mayhew in fourth bringing in 5.78. Rounding out the top five was Jamie Canipe with 4.12.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters fished Lake Wylie Sunday and reports were she was rolling red and debris everywhere. Mark Swink brought in 10.6 and took first place, followed by Terry Knight with 4.14. Randy Scarborough had 4.3 to claim third and Tom Gavin had 3.7 for fourth. Fifth place was Chris Hoopaugh with 1.8. The next event will be on Lake Greenwood, March 30 from 7am til 3pm.
