The retirees have fished lakes Wylie and Norman since last report. On Lake Wylie, John Black and Roger McNeilly got the win with 14.77, and they anchored that with a 5.28 large mouth that was big bass of the day. Larry Melton was second with 10.47 followed by Darrell Hager and Willie Winchester with 8.63.
On Lake Norman, JR Garland got the win with 9.90. Darrell Hager and Willie Winchester had 7.12 to claim second. They also had big bass of the day with a 2.69 large mouth. John Black and Roger McNeilly had 2.97 and were third.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Lake Hickory recently, with Nick Beaver bringing in 13.60 to take the win. Jamie Canipe was second with 12.74. Third place went to Larry Melton with 11.74 and he had big bass of the day with a 5.64 large mouth. Roger Beaver claimed fourth with 8.52 and in fifth was Charlie Canipe with 8.34
