Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report July 17, 2014
Kosa
The Kosa retirees fished Lake Hickory last week, and once again John Black and Roger McNeely used ‘pinky’ to pick up the win. They had 10.2, second with 8.6 was Ray Hembree and George Crosswhite and third with 2.6 was Fred Wright and Dean Champion. Big fish of the day was a 2.7 largemouth brought  in by the team of Hembree and Crosswhite. This week it is back to Lake Wylie.
Moss
Two weeks of fishing from Moss Lakes Thursday night events are up this week. On the week of the 4th, only 9 boats came out and it was won by Reggie and Johnny Guffey with 12.0, they also had big bass with a 3.39 largmouth. Rusell Kiser and Brandon Dockery were second with 7.58. Last week, 16 boats fished and once again Johnny and Reggie Guffey got the win, this time with 12.31.  Buddy and Lindsey Black took second with 10.26 followed by J R Garland and Ronnie Beason with 7.22. Fourth went to Jeremy Bolton and Tyler Ward with 6.78. Big bass was a 5.03 brought in by Reggie and Johnny Guffey.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Stumpy Pond last Saturday for their July event. Conditions were not very good and weights show this. Larry Melton won with 4.32. Tyler Ward was second with 3.94 with Charlie Canipe in third with 2.64. Tammy Melton had 2.24 and was fourth and in fifth was Jimmy Melton with 1.56. The CCBC will fish Lake Greenwood in August.
