Buffalo, New York - Mrs. Catalina "Katy" Rodriguez, 65, passed away on
Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.

Katy was born on June 9, 1954 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico the eldest child of
the late Felix Rivera and Francisca Rivera. She worked for over 15 years at
Kaleida Healthcare in Buffalo as a medical secretary.

Survivors include the father of her children, Eduardo Rodriguez of Buffalo,
New York; four daughters, Elizabeth Rosario of Buffalo, NY; Maria Colon of
Buffalo, NY; Susana Rodriguez of Clearwater, Florida and Alexis Rodriguez of
Buffalo, NY; a step-son, Eduardo Rodriguez, Jr., of Tampa, FL; three
sisters, Carmen Rivera of Buffalo, NY; Eugenia Rivera of Cherryville;
Francisca Rivera of Jacksonville, NC; four brothers, Felix Rivera, Jr. of
Grover; Gerardo Rivera of Ceiba, Puerto Rico; Alex Rivera of Jacksonville,
NC and Thomas Rivera of Shelby; eight grandchildren, Vianca Laboy, Angel
Colon, Destiny Laboy, Juan Colon, Fabian Rosario, Alianna Rosario, Alanys
Colon, Noah Seissian-Rodriguez; three great grandchildren, Laylani Colon,
Liliana Rudd, Emilia Rudd.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Monday, July 8, 2019 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home with a Rosary service to follow.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby with Father Michael T. Kottar as celebrant.

Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.
