Christine Ann Ashley Blanton, 72 of E. Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale, passed
away, Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.

Born July 29, 1946 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Gerold Dean Ashley, Sr. and Edith Scism Ashley. She was a retired
hairdresser and was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby
Blanton and brother, Gerold Dean Ashley, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Phillip A. Wright of Shelby, a niece, Jill Ann
Newton of Newport News, Virginia and special friends, Janette and Jimmy Cook
of Casar and Annette Blanton of Lattimore.

Visitation will 2:30pm to 3:00pm, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Cook and Rev. Jackie Price officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
