Mooresboro - Christopher Paul Guffey, 47 of 223 Montgomery Ex., Mooresboro, died on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at SECU Hospice House, Forest City. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on September 8, 1967 and is survived by his father Howard Ray Guffey and wife Gail and mother Amelia Pagett Richards and husband Dale . He was employed in Builders in the construction business. He was a member of Ellenboro Presbyterian Church. He collected rocks and loved having a good time.
He is also survived by three sons, Stephen Cook of Ellenboro, Christopher Guffey of Mooresboro, Grayson Guffey of Forest City; a daughter Lillianna Peterson of Mooresboro; two brothers Steven Weast and Michael Weast of Ellenboro; two sisters Alison Smith of Ellenboro and Chrystal Guffey of Cherokee; grandchildren Liam Cook and Levi Cook; grandmother, Ruth Padgett of Mooresboro.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM. June 17, 2015 at A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel with Rev. Sam Henderson officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.
