Blacksburg -- Claudia Marie Sisk, 45, of 101 Eds Road, passed away Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Born in Shelby, she was the daughter of Kathleen Sisk and the late Roger Sisk. Ms. Sisk retired as a Teacher and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Blacksburg. She received her Batchler of Arts degree from LImestone College and her Master of Arts in Education from Columbia College. She taught at Gaffney Middle School.

Ms. Sisk is survived by one brother, Faron Sisk and wife, Tammy; maternal grandmother, Rosa Robbins; three aunts, Rosa Moore, Diane Kirkpatrick, and Jill Harrison.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jim Robbins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7th, 2018, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church of Blacksburg, 1284 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Eric Sellers and Rev. Virgil Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Zack Rape, Dalton Batchler, Aron Moss, JD Moore, Jamie McIntire, and Matt Allen will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence.
