Smyrna -- Colleen Carol Ryan Blankenship, 67, of 214 Ore Bank Road, passed away Friday, May 19th, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Tupper Lake, New York, she was the widow of Gerald Blankenship and the daughter of the late Walter Ryan and Alice Ryan. Mrs.Blankenship was a Homemaker and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.

Mrs. Blankenship is survived by six sons, Jerry Blankenship, Billy Blankenship, Randy Blankenship, all of Blacksburg, Clifton Blankenship of the home, Lance Blankenship of Gaffney, and Emmanuel Wallace of Blacksburg; two daughters, Jodi Wyatt and Melony Blankenship, both of Blacksburg; one brother, Tommy Ryan of Maryland; five sisters, Pat Elder, Barbara Richards, Sheila McDowell, Kathy Herring, all of Maryland, and Lois Richards of Florida; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Blankenship.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

The family will be at their individual residences.
