Bostic- Commie Goode Ballard passed away on February 28 at Fair Haven Home Bostic. She was born on December 10, 1920, in Rutherford County. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Blanche Beachboard Goode.

PRECEDED: She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Rev. Glenn William Ballard, infant son, Glenn Jr., brothers Grady, Carl, Joseph and Ernest Goode, and sister Muriel Cooper.

SURVIVORS: Left to cherish her memories are daughter Helen Ballard Smith and husband Steve, grandson Michael and wife Amanda, granddaughter Melissa Smith Jones and husband Chad, greatgrandchildren are Ardan and Case Jones and Ashtyn and Sydney Smith, all of Mooresboro and sister Beatrice Morrison and husband Willie of Forest City and numerous nieces and nephews

SERVICES: The family will receive friends at Race Path Baptist Church on Saturday, March 3 from 2:00-3:00pm followed by the funeral at 3:00pm with the Rev. Randall Cooper and Rev. John Godfrey.
