KINGS MOUNTAIN - Connie Lee Belk Hamm, age 75, transitioned from this life on Saturday, December 14, 2019. She was born in Kings Mountain to her loving parents Hall G. and Irene Strickland Belk.

She loved her sister Annie Mae Propst and brother Johnny (Linda) with all of her heart. She was preceeded in death by her boyfriend Homer Kale who meant the world to her. She was a loving mother to her sons Jimmy (Christie) and Michael (Cindy) Whetstine.

She was good to everyone and did all she was able to do for those she loved. She was the best mother-in-law to Jimmy's wife, Christie. She loved her home and working in the yard tending to her flowers and plants. She was quirky and simple and stuck to her daily and weekly routines. She loved all six of her grandchildren, Sloan, Josh and Amber Whetstine, Casey Laurich, Ryan Ramsey and Kassy Ledford and all nine of her great-grandchildren, Jordan Kylee Payton and Rhyliegh Whetstine, Benjamin and Isaac Laurich, Baylee, Weston and Easton Ledford. She loved her little dog Suzy to pieces and spoiled her rotten.

She was very loved by all of us and we will tremendously miss her until we meet her again, We will continue to Carry her in our hearts and memories each day of the rest of our lives.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Second Baptist Church, 102 Linwood Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
