Cross Words: The One and Only
He is the most influential person who ever lived.  More people’s lives have been changed by Him than all the Caesars Rome has produced.  More than all the presidents the United States has elected. More than even Justin Bieber and Brittney Spears.
Time stopped and rebooted on the day of His birth.  Calendars and clocks around the world, those belonging to believers and non, lay testament to His entrance into humanity.  There was simply before Him (B.C.) and after Him (A.D.).
He is hands down the most quoted speaker ever.  “Man does not live on bread alone,”  “What God has joined together let men not separate,” and “A nation divided against itself cannot stand” are just a few of His jewels. Shakespeare is more than likely a distant second.
He delivered the greatest speech ever given.  His ‘Sermon on the Mount’ lasted between 2 to 3 days, yet not once did He refer to notes, outlines or a teleprompter.  Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have A Dream’ speech, while great in its’ own right, barely scratched the surface of excellence by comparison.
He healed the sick, fed the hungry, had compassion for the poor, gave sight to the blind and raised the dead. Yet one of His followers wrote that He “did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written” (John 21:25).
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, His name is Jesus. He is also God come in human form.  He is also approachable, understanding and forgiving.  And more than anything He wants you to not only know about Him, He wants you to know Him. “...we know that this man really is the Savior of the world” (John 4:42).
