Mooresboro- Daniel Dean Splawn, 69, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Kydean Splawn and Elizabeth Evans Splawn Massebeau.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Rhett Splawn.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Lois Splawn and his devoted cat Dixon, sister-in-laws Margaret Edwards and husband Harlan, Lib Roberts and husband Gary, brother-in-law John Hamrick and wife Aletta plus special nieces and nephews.

Services will be 3:30pm Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Hamrick officiating the service. A visitation will be held from 2-3:30pm prior to the service.

He will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church New Building Fund at 1301 Mount Pleasant Mooresboro, NC 28114.
