David A. Dingus, age 47, resident of Gainesville, FL formerly of Grover, NC died March 17, 2014 at his home.  He was born in Cleveland Co, NC.  David was Regional Director of Hospice of Citrus Co. and of the Nature Coast.  He formerly worked with Heartland Hospice and N. Florida Regional Medical Center.  He served on the panel of judges for Miss Gainesville Pageants and was affiliated with Florida U.S. pageants.  He was a former cosmetologist, working in various salons and was currently studying for his Bachelors in Healthcare Administration at Sante Fe College, Gainesville, FL.  David was a very talented singer and pianist, using his God given talents in several gospel groups through the years.  David brought joy and laughter to everyone that he met. He will be truely missed.

SURVIVORS: Parents: Don Dingus and Chick Dingus, Grover, NC; Sister: Sherry Dingus Biddix and husband Doug, Lawndale, NC; Many Friends who will miss him greatly.                             

FUNERAL SERVICE: New Buffalo Baptist Church, Friday, March 22, 2014    4:00 P.M.   Rev. Adam Green and Rev. Dale Angel, officiating      

VISITATION: 2:00 – 3:30 P.M. Friday, March 22, 2014 prior to the service in the Sanctuary of New Buffalo Baptist Church and other times at the home of his parents, 109 N. Main Street, Grover, NC

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
