SHELBY: Deane Miller Proctor, 81, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at White Oak Manor of Shelby. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Grace Casman Miller. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and volunteered at Hospice of Cleveland County, Cleveland County Women's Abuse Center, Senior Center, and the Salvation Army Thrift Shop.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her first husband, Adrian Lacasse; second husband, Alan Proctor; and son, Robert "Steve' Lacasse

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Huntsinger and husband Mike, and Shelly Wesson and husband Donny, all of Shelby; sisters, Faye Huskey and husband Bob of Marion, Stella Still and husband Cecil of Leicester, NC, and Patt Thompson and husband Dean of Hickory; grandchildren, Jason Huntsinger of Shelby, Amber Cook and husband Noel of Shelby, Josh Wesson and wife Summer of Kings Mountain, Cody Wesson of Kings Mountain, Liz lemons and husband Ben of Boiling Springs; great-grandchildren, Sidney McCraw, Mikayla Lemons, Adrian Cook, Madi Lemons, Becca Lemons, and Levi Cook.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be 11am, Tuesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 9:30-11am, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

OFFICIATING: Mike Huntsinger will officiate

BURIAL: Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville
