Deborah Splawn White, age 57, of Spring, Texas, died Friday, December 6, 2013 at her residence in Texas.
Born April 30, 1956 in Rutherford County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Splawn and Naomi Mitchell Splawn.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Gilbert of Blacksburg, SC; two sisters, Arlene Smith and husband, Mike of Rutherfordton and Tonya Foster and husband, Barney of the Shiloh Community. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Mike Mauro, a long time friend and caregiver, for his love, sacrifice and compassion toward Deborah.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Holly Springs Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Wesley Smith officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
