Debra Lynn Buff Canipe, 63, of West Hwy. 10, Vale, passed away Thursday,
March 1, 2018, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Born November 23, 1954 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of Agnes
Willis Buff and the late John Luther Buff, Sr. She was retired from Clayton
Marcus after twenty-eight years of service and was a member of Pleasant Hill
United Methodist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of thirty-three
years, Jerry Hazel Canipe; three brothers, John L. Buff, Jr. of Hickory,
Todd A. Buff and wife Teresa of Maiden and Dwayne Buff and wife Brenda of
Newton; brother-in-law, Jackie Canipe and wife Phyllis; two sisters-in-law,
Daphine Huffman and Vernie Canipe, five nephews, Trey A. Buff, Ronnie
Hudson, Jimmy Hudson, Allen Hudson and Clint Canipe; three nieces, Tarra Von
Holle and husband Neil, Lisa Champion and Susie Champion and great niece,
Claire Von Holle.

The visitation will be from 2:00PM until 3:00PM Saturday at Pleasant Hill
United Methodist Church.

The funeral service will be at 3:00PM Saturday at Pleasant Hill United
Methodist Church with Rev. Cindy Nanney officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
