Denise Hudgins Gosnell, 54, of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, she is the daughter of Rev. Wesley and Lena Mae Brown Hudgins.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents is her husband, Steve Gosnell of the home; sons Stephen Douglas Gosnell II and US Air Force Senior Airman Christian Shane Gosnell; brothers, Ronald Hudgins, Benny Hudgins, Terry Hudgins, Gary Hudgins and Wesley Hudgins Jr.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church 2466 Cove Road Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with Rev. Leon Brown, Rev. Wesley Hudgins, and Rev. Roger Gosnell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
