Diane Waters Pruett, age 64, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the home of her sister in Rutherfordton.
Born March 9, 1953 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Dan Waters and Nellie Johnson Waters. She was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pruett; an infant granddaughter, Kaitlyn Herring; two brothers, Sherman Waters, Donald Waters; and one sister, Sarah Reed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Danny Ledford and wife Lisa of Lawndale; two daughters, Lisa Constante and husband Joel of Bostic, Angela Herring and husband Michael of Bostic; two sisters, Dorothy Hudgins and husband Robert of Rutherfordton, Carolyn Bright and husband Gary of Spindale. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Heather Bowlin, Dillon Ledford, MaKayela Short, Dustin Ledford, Alexis Herring, Victoria Constante, Kaleb Herring; three great-grandchildren, Madelyn Bowlin, Aaron Short, and Jase Short.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown, Reverend Danny Ledford and Reverend Brian Bowlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.
