Donna Faye Blanton

Ms. Donna Faye Blanton went to her heavenly home in her sleep at home with her mother, Friday, November 8, 2019. She was born November 7, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA.

She graduated from Burns High School, Lawndale, NC and attended one year of college at Western Carolina University.

Donna was a faithful member of Golden Ridge Baptist Church. She had a special gift that only God can give. She loved everyone and everyone loved Donna. She worked at Stouffers in Gaffney, SC for 9 years. She also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2 group homes for children with behavioral problems in Fallston and Kingston NC. Donna was on the Usher Board when she was able to fulfill her duties. She loved bible study and helping with vacation bible school. Whatever and whenever she was asked to do anything all they had to do was call her name. With all her disabilities, she loved the Lord with all her heart, body and soul. She gave God her best.

Donna is preceded in death by her great grandparents, grandparents, uncles and aunts.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Flossie Hardin, step father, Will Hardin, Sr, Father Jimmy Allison (Betty), brothers Jeffery Blanton, Shelby, Will Hardin, Jr. (Nicole), Crestview Fl, Kris Hardin (Wanda), Kings Mountain, and sister Mrs. Roxanne Boyd, (Jessie) Shelby; great uncle Elijah Phillips, Boiling Springs NC; uncles, Eugene Blanton, Warwick NY and Michael Hosch, Shelby; great aunt Jennie Ruth Phillips, Shelby; aunts, Offia Blanton, Shelby, Billie Jo Moore, Lexington NC, Seleana Allison, Shelby and Gail Hosch, Shelby. Many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends always showed her love. They called her Aunt Donna.

Faithful fiancé, comforter and provider J.Q. Camp who was always by her side. A Godly and compassionate person that loved Donna.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Golden Ridge Baptist Church at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM at the church. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloemortuary.com. Enloe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
