Mrs. Edna Dean Allison Turner, 93, of White Oak Manor passed away
Friday, January 13, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cherokee County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Pinkney
Alexander Allison and Edna C. Allison Allison. Mrs. Turner was a homemaker
and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband
Everette Carl Turner; son, Joe Turner; brothers, Woodrow, Pinkney Jr., and
Hogue Allison; sisters, Bessie McCombs and Eva Bingham and one deceased
grandchild.
Mrs. Turner is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Carolyn
Turner of Charlotte; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy Turner of Shelby
and Katherine "Kathy" and Charles "Chuck" Ledbetter; sister, Margaret
Allison of Charlotte; nine grandchildren, Rose Ray, Trent Hoyle, Lacy Hoyle,
Elizabeth Turner, Cindy Hord, Joe Turner Jr., Sandy Ledford, Wade Patterson,
and Tracy Morgan; ten great grandchildren and three great great
grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at Friendship
United Methodist Church sanctuary in Fallston.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, at Friendship United
Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Bevill officiating. Burial will follow in
the church cemetery.
